This is another in the “Velvet Shadows” mode, a silvery mist changing with random droplets from an overhanging tree. Just maybe you had to have been a fisherman to know what the changing reflections do to your eyes when you are intently focused on one spot.  Neal Williams is very fond of using “Reverb” and “Delay” throughout Marginal Movements - it is of great importance within this hazy composition, a relevence you can't quite explain yet you would miss it if it wasn’t there. We are back to fisherman’s eyes again.

SYLVAN DROPLETS written and performed by Neal Williams. Instruments; synth, bongos, bells, banjo, guitar.

NEAL WILLIAMS was born in Atlanta, GA USA and took up music at a very early age, playing the violin at 13. He played bass in a jazz band, before moving into more experimental music, a multi instrumentalist playing guitar, bass, drums, banjo, piano, bells and electronics. Most of the work for Marginal Movements was close miked in his small extra bedroom in Atlanta. Neal and William have never met, though their ideas have become reality via the internet, while working together on Neal’s new cd cover painting “Possible Selves”.
